Assalamu Alaikum Class,

WEEKLY BLOGGING

As we discussed last week in our Technology class, you are REQUIRED to blog 5 times a week. This means you have Monday through Saturday till midnight to post your 5 required BLOGS.

Your 5 blog posts are part of your classroom work/participation/homework grade. As discussed in the class, I will grade/review your BLOGS each Sunday.

I am giving you latitude in terms of choosing your blog topics; however, you must comply with your class blog rules and the following criteria:

Blogs should promote:

Creativity
Originality
Quality
Islamic perspective
Islamic values
Islam and technology

IMPORTANT: Just DO NO copy and paste the website or Video and or an article in your blog without any input from you; ***you MUST ALSO write a paragraph about your thoughts, view and or an understanding on the given blog/topic.***


IMPORTANT: Since this is part of your classwork grade, you have till Saturday midnight to complete your 5 weekly blogs. The students who will follow the directions will get full 100% marks on this part of the classwork grade.

Here are some of the examples on 5 weekly blogs grading policy (Needs to be completed by every Saturday night).

Students Posted:

5 weekly blogs before the weekly deadline = 100 % grade
4 weekly blogs before the weekly deadline = 80% grade
3 weekly blogs before the weekly deadline = 60% grade
2 weekly blogs before the weekly deadline = 40% grade
1 weekly blogs before the weekly deadline = 20% grade
0 weekly blogs before the weekly deadline = 0% grade

I recommend NOT waiting till the last moment, you have a full week to complete this. If I would you, I will have my 5 posts blogged in the beginning of the week.
